A small treasure titled “Green Door”, this includes the traditional Southwestern ristra, adobe buildings, ladder, green hills, and bright blue sky.  Handmade paper shape complements the image, measuring approximately 5.25 by 5.25.  Framed with glass to 8 by 8 inches.  Signed lower left.  There is glass which is causing some reflection in the images for this listing. Probably watercolor.
Geraldine Tso (Navajo) is known for painting dwellings of the Taos Pueblo in New Mexico where she lives with her husband.  Her artwork consists primarily of southwest architectural landscapes which emulate the natural earth tones of the southwest and the bright skies; they frequently include the Taos Pueblo buildings and the interplay of shadows and light.   She is one of the commissioned artists with a room at Nativo Lodge in Albuquerque  (“Blue Day, Visit To The Pueblo” room 503).
