    Description

    8" by 12" color print of United Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-8-61 N8070U taxiing at SFO in July 1974.  This was the first DC-8-61 built by Douglas and its first flight was in March 14, 1966.  It was delivered to United on May 7, 1967 and flew for UA until it was sold in 1991.  It was converted to a -71 in 1983.  It was converted to a freighter and flew for a number of cargo carriers before being stored.

    All prints are professionally scanned from slides unless noted otherwise,  and printed on high quality FUJIFILM Lustre Finish Photo Paper.  Imperfections, dirt, and dust from original image have been removed where possible, and color and fade correction made as needed.  EBay image is a low resolution scan.  Actual prints are sharper and have better color than eBay scans.  Most prints are borderless, however due to cropping and format variations some may have a small white border.****
