  • Condition: Vintage 1980s UK Rock Band Marillion Jester Enamel Pin Back Badge. Per my research this pin is a rarity of the Marillion Lapel pins(badge) made in the early 1980s. Normally when found it is found in the UK. It is from my families estate. My stepfather owned a music store for many years here in New Jersey where he specialized in imports. The pin is an enameled jester head with the name Marillion. The front is really nice. Enamel is a good full and bright. I found loss at the very tip of one of the smaller green areas. Very minimal loss to a few of the gold lines. Few minor marks on the front and a small scratch scuff area on one the green tips(see close ups). The back does need to be cleaned there is patina and tarnish areas from aging. The metal still feels sturdy on the patina parts so the patina has not destroyed the strength of the metal. I have not polished it I know most collectors prefer to do this themselves. The pin area needs the close part where the pin stick slides threw pus

It is bent over too far that the stick pin part stays in place and you can not slide the stick pin out. Basically the gap is too small to push the stick pin in and out. Photos are in natural sunlight(no use of flash) and the measurements are in the photos.
