This auction is for a new-old-stock Ideal Equestrian carriage driving pony size adjustable padded harness double strap style neck strap with nickel terrets. The item has an attached tag that reads IDEAL EQUESTRIAN. MASTER CRAFTSMEN IN SADDLERY-HARNESS. ART NO. HD-9006. SIZE. PONY. Please note that this item has been treated with a high quality leather conditioner with a mildew/mold inhibitor. We believe that this item was made within the last 5-10 years. The padded part of the neck strap measures roughly 12” x 2 3/4” not including the 4 straps or terrets. The 4 straps measure roughly 12 1/2“ in length and are 3/4” wide and 1/4” thick. Each of the straps have 3 holes in them that allow them to be adjusted. The terrets appear to be made of nickel and were not attracted to a magnet when tested. The terrets are not completely fixed and move around from side to side. The terrets have wear, scratches, nicks, and areas with oxidation. The neck strap weighs roughly 1 lb 1 oz. The leather has shelf wear, manufacturing imperfections, scratches, nicks, dings, scuffs, gouge-type marks, and dusty areas. The leather padded area has black leather rub-type marks from the straps rubbing up against the edges. The center of the padded area also has a large gouge-type indentation that also has black rubbing-type marks. The edge of the padded area also has several small and large indentations.
