G Scale Trainline45 (Train-LI) Code 332 R4 (8ft) Lefthand Track Switch Turnout

Greetings friends, what you see here is a G Scale Trainline45/Train-LI Code 332 R4 (R3 in LGB parlance) Lefthand Track Switch. This unit was purchased from Train-LI some time ago and has seen a good amount of use strictly on indoor floor layouts. The switch and others by Trainline/LI/45 features the powered polarity-switching brass frog in the center to alleviate dead zones for small locomotives passing through the points. THIS switch however became a frankenstein subject of wire soldering and slight modding in an attempt to improve a still-unsolved conductivity issue, that could only be fixed short-term by a jumper cable for whatever reason. If you operate battery/dead rail, then conductivity is of no issue. Otherwise, if you have the patience for investigation, this turnout is for you.
This switch will not accept LGB joiners in any manner and requires shorter length joiners or clamps, hence the minor gouges on the outer ends of the rail heads, all from brass clamps offered by Trainline/LI/45/whoever.
The switch hosts carpet fibers, an errant cat hair, and minor operational wear and corrosion on the tops of the rails. AS-IS because I replaced this turnout already and no longer need it.
