Baje Whitethorne, Limited Edition Print "Crystal Moon For a Shoe Game." NOS

For sale is a New Old Stock (NOS) Limited Edition off set print by Navajo artist Baje Whitethorne Sr. The title of this limited edition is "Crystal Moon For a Shoe Game." The outside mat measures about 19" x 23 1/2" with the inside image being about 10 3/4" x 16". This print is hand signed and numbered (58 out of 500 printed images) by Mr. Whitethorne and comes direct from the inventory of his limited edition print publisher, Sage Brush Limited Edition in Flagstaff AZ.
This limited edition was first published in the late 1980's. The inks that were used to produce all of Mr. Whitethorne's limited edition prints were sensitive to both artificial and natural sun light. Hence many of these prints have faded in color over the years if they were displayed without the proper protective UV framing glass. Since this print has always been stored away from all light sources (it was never displayed or sold), the colors in this print are as vivid as the day it came off the press. This print, as well as the others prints listed on Ebay (see my other listings), were originally prepared by the publisher to be sold to a gallery. Hence the print was mounted on an acid free mat board (double matted) with a foam core backing (loose, not attached). The order was subsequently cancelled and this print was put away in storage only to be found recently in the publishers inventory.
